There goes that Piece of Sanity.

Finding inspiration on Google is surprisingly difficult.

For the past two hours i've been browsing Google's 'dark art' for a halloween piece.
The typical stuff, like vampires, etc.

Lets put it this way, googles essentially useless for a serious search, and it is aggrivating as hell.
Anyone know of good art references for this topic? Or keywords to use?

Cuz yeah, it's not workign for me.

Also, so far no luck in getting a job. I"m supposed to get a call from Paradise Pets today (Monday) or tomorrow (tuesday) but so far nothing.

I really despise this stage of job hunting. the lunging for the phone only to find that it's an automated voice representing a sale of some sort.

I really don't know what else to do, my resume's as good as it's gonna get, but it doesn't seem good enough. i've applied at least 5 times to Paradise Pets who just tell me "just keep nagging us! ^_^" over the past year and a half or so. Last time i applied i actually got a decent response "we'll be callign around for interviews Monday or Tuesday, we'll give you a call".

Its frustrating and slightly depressing at the same time.

And by the time I give up on Paradise, all the places that are NOW HIRING! will not be hirign anymore and be filled up. ITS HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE.

Maybe I should've stayed at Safeway....

Calling all furry people!

Alright, here's the deal.

I recently quit the job at safeway (reasons of which are sorta explained in my LJ)

And I've been applying around for a new job. (preferably Paradise Pets)


Soo... i've decided to open up cheap comissions.

$10 digital sketch, ink & color. if you want the WIP's, then gimme an email (I only use MSN, but it's easy enough to send something via gmail or whatever)

$5 inked sketch, non colored.

$5 color pencil (Prisma, crayola...) badges.

I don't have a paypal just now, but i should within the next couple months. So send me a cheque, money order, etc to me, in CANADIAN DOLLARS please.

I will provide an address via note if you're interested.

Oh, and i won't give you the picture until i've recieved money. It'll probably be done before then, but i won't be shafted.

So i finally quit my job.

i worked there from July 25-0ct 6th, so three ish months which isn't bad.
They have a remarkable talent of taking you on a guilt trip though.

Enough people are quitting at Safeway that they're thinking of raising the wage from $9.00 /hourCAN to $11.00/hour CAN.
And also the bitch of our department (bakery) is supposed to be quitting too., although that may only be a rumor. On top of that a couple of the managers of the store came down and said "sorry to hear youre quitting... that's too bad." In that genuine tone that makes you feel like you're an inch tall and also makes you think of saying "Lol, just kidding. I'm not quitting."

So i'll be applying around again after Thanksgiving weekend, and i'll see how things turn out from there.
